Court issue

Should rough games be acceptable in the court or not acceptable.

Students of St Pius X Catholic School constantly play rough games in the court. The court is not a place where students should get hurt by the rough games that are played around them.

Firstly, there are too many games that are played in the courts, that causes confusion and frustration. Such as Netball, Touch, Howl, Volley-ball, Bull-rush and King-ball. I find that the constant rough games really annoying. There are balls that are thrown around and could hit anybody.

Secondly there are a few netball girls that are practicing which gets annoying for them too.

Thirdly if someone gets hit by any ball, things could turn into arguments or fights.

The students who play Touch should play on the field. Therefore it’s a much safer area for them to play at.

In conclusion, the students that play roughly should be aware and considerate of those who are around them. Rough games should not be acceptable and should stop right now.

  1. Hi Angelica, I could feel your frustration as I read your post. It must be very difficult with so many games going on at once. The Winter makes it even more difficult when the fields are so muddy. One of the things I have always admired aout the kids in our community is the way you CAN pllay different games at the same time in the same place without too many problems arising. That is quite unusual and special.

I definitely take your point about the rough games though.
